Fiesta Bubble is a balloon dress in handloom woven cotton — mustard yellow and fuchsia pink threads woven together into a large-scale plaid check. The fabric is the party. The silhouette makes it interesting: the hem is gathered inward and fastened with an adjustable sea-green drawstring on the right side seam. Pull it tighter for a more pronounced bubble. Loosen it for a longer, easier fall. The dress shapes differently depending on how you wear it. A small teal bead at the centre back neckline marks the same green as the drawstring.

100% Handloom Cotton — woven plaid check. The mustard yellow and fuchsia pink are warp and weft threads that intersect to create the check grid. The lighter pink squares where the two colours overlap are a natural property of the weave. Gets softer with every wash.

The Adjustable Silhouette

The sea-green drawstring on the right side seam threads through the elasticated hem, allowing you to control how pronounced the bubble is. Pulled tight: a very defined cocoon. Loosened: a longer, more relaxed midi. The teal colour of the drawstring and the back bead is a deliberate design accent — an unexpected note against the mustard-pink check.
